Architect plan of proposed development: Louth Road, North Cockerington
Schematic elevation and plan
North Cockerington Parish website is ready for you use; for example you might have a story to tell about the village, or an article of general interest, photos ("Landscape" orientation if possible), or useful links to external websites. If you want to make any contributions, please contact Peter Statham (see Contact for details), and check back for the latest updates and information.
Footpaths and Bridleways
North Cockerington has four public footpaths that traverse a varied landscape, but always with farming in the background. Most are ancient in origin and some are in need of restoration both to the path itself and the accompanying signage. Sadly there are only two Bridleways within the Parish. Although the temptation exists to use designated footpaths for a gentle ride on a horse, or to enjoy an off-road cycle ride across the countryside, riders of horses and cyclists are reminded that these paths are strictly for people to walk along. The restrictions, although limiting, are in place mainly for safety and horse-riding and cycling are forbidden.
